Title:

Education:

MS, Human Resources, Suffolk University, Boston, MA

BS, Psychology, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA

How did you get into the job you have now?

I found my way into the field of Human Resources/Recruiting because of my passion for wanting to help others. In my current part-time role, I continue to learn and explore new areas in the field with enough balance and flexibility to participate and celebrate the joy of raising my family.

Favorite planet?

Earth, it’s everything I know and love.

Hobbies outside of work?

You’ll find me outdoors whenever the weather allows. I enjoy running, good weather beach days, and outdoor adventures with my husband and kids. A typical weekend in the spring and fall includes cheering on my kids at their many travel and club soccer games. In my free time, I also enjoy learning about and incorporating wellness into my day, crafting, and being mindful.

Why did you choose SSI?

I chose SSI for the small company feel. I am proud to work for a company that truly values its employees. I am fortunate to have a supportive, engaging boss and collaborative coworkers. At SSI, I’ve gotten the chance to work on projects that I might not have the opportunity to get involved in at a large company.

Bio:

In college, I followed my passion for wanting to make a positive impact on people’s lives by studying psychology. I started a career in Human Resources, and I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of different areas within the field. Some of the areas I’ve enjoyed most throughout my career are employee relations, wellness programs, learning & development, and recruitment.
