Education:
How did you get into the job you have now?
While working as a government civilian, I had the opportunity to help stand up and define the roles of Title 10 & Title 50 targeting duties at the National Space Defense Center. I met Scott Matsui during that assignment and kept in touch throughout the years. That tour of duty, which ended in 2021, paved the way for employment at SSI.
Favorite planet?
Moron Mountain (Space Jam) IYKYK
Hobbies outside of work?
Spending time with family, watching my daughters play softball, exercising, BBQing, and (new) volunteering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Why did you choose SSI?
I attended a meet & greet that Scott invited me to, and I was amazed by how personable Chris & Tobin were with SSI employees and potential aspirants. SSI felt like the right organization to join after transitioning from the government, as it has allowed me to continue to support the warfighter and other government customers.
Bio:
As a native Midwesterner, I attended the University of Illinois to pursue an undergrad degree. After three semesters and 10k of student loans, I began to analyze my situation and decided to enlist in the Army National Guard to obtain monetary assistance for school. Upon completing basic & advanced training, I returned to school and was commissioned through the ROTC program. From that day forward, my career has been centered around working for and with the U.S. Military and other government agencies.
