How did you get into the job you have now?

I wasn’t necessarily looking to change jobs, but a current SSI employee contacted me about the opening. We had previously worked together and she thought I would be a good fit for the position. After spending my entire career on the development side of scheduling, I realized I was ready to learn about scheduling from the government’s perspective and was very interested in being a part of the SSI team.

Favorite planet?

Hobbies outside of work?

I love to travel, read and watch my son play baseball. Being a recent empty nester, I also value any time where my family is all together in one spot!

Why did you choose SSI?

I knew SSI had a strong reputation and employed several former colleagues whom I greatly respected. When I joined SSI, I was confident I was stepping into a reputable organization alongside a group of highly capable professionals in the industry. I love being a part of this company and quickly realized that I made the right decision! My day to day work is interesting and differs from the day before. I feel very valued in my role and appreciate all of the effort that SSI puts into getting to know their employees and ensuring they don’t feel like just a number. I also love their Holiday gifts each year!

Originally from New Jersey, I have spent the last 25 years in Virginia working in scheduling. The last 17+ years have been working on national security programs with General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman (previously Orbital). At both companies, I developed and executed program schedules from start to launch, managing all associated program challenges.
