How did you get into the job you have now?

After 12 years in the navy flying the Growler,  I had built enough experience to get myself in trouble.  That’s when I reached out to Wade Rushton and he brought me on board.

Favorite planet?

Earth: it has a lot to offer and it’s pretty beautiful, 9/10 would recommend.

Hobbies outside of work?

Mountain sports (mountain biking, skiing, hiking, rock climbing), DIY house projects, And traveling the world.

 

Why did you choose SSI?

SSI has a great reputation, and it’s hard to say no to a place when everyone you meet is excited about their work, and the company they work for.  That and our sweet domain.

Bio:

Fresh transplant to the DMV,  I moved here from the San Juan islands in Puget sound last summer with the Metelica family in tow! We are so excited to be making our home in northern Virginia!  My wife Kendall is a logistics goddess, and we spend most of our time keeping our two sons Teddy and Beckett as wild as possible, that and  sprucing up our new home. Professionally I have spent the last two decades in aviation and aerospace, first flying on the commercial side, then the military, and now private defense contracting while I moonlight as a Growler instructor in the Navy reserves.
