Title:

Technical Portfolio Lead

Education:
M.S. Electrical Engineering (AFIT); B.S. Electrical Engineering (The Citadel)

How did you get into the job you have now?
The experience I gained on active duty provided me with the technical skills needed for my position. Fortunately, the relationships I had built and support from others, to include a few SSI employees, helped open doors that guided me into my technical advisor role.

Favorite planet?
Pluto. I said what I said.

Hobbies outside of work?
Spending time with my family, Aviation, camping, build projects, and serving the community through my church.

Why did you choose SSI?
I wanted to focus on a small company where I wouldn’t become just another number.  SSI’s focus on mission support, its collaborative culture, and reputation for integrity aligned with my values and what I was looking for after retiring from military service.  The flexibility provided by the IBA was the icing on the cake.

Bio:
I served 24 years around the world in the USAF and USSF as a communication electronics technician, then as a developmental engineer. After retiring, I transitioned into technical advising to continue supporting government missions. I enjoy solving complex problems, helping to keep the fight unfair, and serving others in both my professional and personal life.
